How It All Got Started:
The evolution of the BZ Beach Store and the BZ Beach Bum society is a simple one and it began the same way all good relationships begin, with love (in our case it was love of the shore & boardwalks), and a drive for happiness… We, the founding members of the BZ Beach Bum family set out to create a website where visitors can not only find great prices on great beach gear, but also share and interact with other beach lovers from all over. BZ Beach Store does more then just sell products, we promote a lifestyle.
What is this lifestyle, you ask? Well it’s what we like to call the Beach Bum way of life. Simply put, its comfortable, relaxed, and carefree living, but most importantly its about having fun at the shore. The products we sell help our fellow beach bums enjoy their trips to the beach just a little bit more. If we can do that by offering a better price on a beach chair, or giving advice on a new local hotspot, or even posting up a new recipe for clam chowder, well then that’s what you’re going to find here.
In our many travels we found like minded friends who shared our passion for the shore, and this site and our efforts are dedicated to them. We also tip our hats to all those beach bums out there who make the seasonal trips to the shore, and even those who call the shore home. We salute you all... Long live the Beach Bums!

If a product doesn't meet our high standards for comfort and quality we won't carry it in our store. Our moto is a simple one, we don't just sell products we promote a lifestyle, and our Beach Bums look to us for advice on more then just merchandise, they want to know about great beach getaway spots, local landmarks, and a whole lot more... There is a lot of shore line out there and although we've seen a lof of it, we couldn't hope to see it all... Which is why we often rely on other Beach Bums to help us out in this department as well.
